Circumstances
Brittney disappeared in front of the Village Manor Apartment complex in Sturgis. She had been last seen sitting on a bench at approximately 8:45 p.m. and was reported missing later that evening at approximately 10:20 p.m. A bloodhound was able to follow Brittney's trail past the bench where she was last seen and to the parking lot of a Marathon service station and convenience store east of the apartments, where the trail ended.
